House rules

  • If the water is not running, open the tap in the corner of the floor on the right of the veranda, if you look to the house.
  • If there is no electricity inside, walk to the small hallway, on the left there is electric panel, switch up the two left-hand breakers on the bottom row.
  • The switch for the electrical heating of water heater is the second from the right on the bottom row, with orange light. Bring it up, then switch on the red knob next to the bathroom door to turn on the heater. Water heats up in less than half an hour. Better turn it off when not needed. In sunny days the sun shall be enough to heat water for 4-5 persons.
  • The oven will not work until you set the clock (time will be blinking). Use the left button to select the clock icon, adjust time and click the left button again.
  • You can pair a music source via Bluetooth to the wireless speaker. One full charge of the speaker guarantees ~ 15 hours play on battery.
  • No smoking inside the house!
  • Respect the neighbors (no loud music or chats).
  • No external gas appliances of any kind!!!
  • No fire, except controlled in the BBQ!! Make sure fire is off before leaving the BBQ – even a small spark can cause major damage, especially when windy. If needed, use water to make sure there is no live fire.
  • No litter in the yard.
  • No litter outside, garbage container is 50 meters away!
  • No frying (especially fish) inside the house, there is external induction plate (hob) next to the BBQ. Use the provided extension cord (cable)!
  • All kitchen areas, tools, dishes, pots, etc., must be properly cleaned by you.
  • Linens and towels are changed only for stays of more than 7 days. You can serve yourselves, if something goes unexpected. Contact us for details.
  • Keep children away from the two plumbing shafts (pits) covered with gray plastic covers.
  • Pets are very welcomed, but…
    • You have to clean after them!!! Leave nothing in the yard!
    • Please be very careful with the mosquito nets – dogs and cats tend to tear them.
    • Try to keep them from barking
  • If you use the BBQ, you are responsible to turn the fire completely down and throw away the ashes in a bag in the garbage container after ensuring that nothing can cause fire.
  • Clean the BBQ area from grease and other litter.
  • Save water and electricity as much as you can.
  • Water the trees and spices at your own will (thank you), but not too much.
  • No shoes on the hammock!
  • Keep in touch with us, and inform us of any problem you encounter.

Sorry, you probably assumed most of these rules and would respect them anyway, but it is still better to set things clear :).

Failure to respect these rules may result in cancellation of your stay or prosecution by local authorities.
