Beaches

Keramoti Beach
K2

A large, sandy beach in the village of Keramoti, located exactly in front of the Tassos and Tassopula islands. The beach is free, there are few places with coffees where you can enjoy a drink under free umbrellas. There is plenty of place for car parking under the shadow of the threes just behind the beach. Close to many restaurants, pubs, and stores.
K1To the east the beach continues into a beautiful peninsula.

Monastiraki Beach
Accessible via the village of Monstiraki () this large beach offers side view to the Tassos island and a lot of place to find a spot away from others. The left (east) side is usually occupied by campers and caravans. If you take a walk on the beach in that direction (~1 hour) you’ll get to the wonderful Nestos river delta.
To the right (west) side, you will find a beach free of campers which connects with Keramoti’s nbeach.

Thassos beaches

Visiting the island of Thassos is mandatory, if you are in the area. There are dozens of small villages across the island with wonderful views, restaurants and coffees. There are, as well, many, many beaches, but two that you must visit are the Paradise and the Giola lagoon.

P2Paradise is an organized beach, but you can bring your own umbrellas.  There is nudist spot in the east part. Clean, calm sea with crystal water. You need to walk 10 minutes, or have a 4×4 car to get to it.

G1Giola lagoon is an extremely nice place, but it is far from the main road. Prepare for 15 minutes walk and have plenty of drinkable water.
